The Courses

All courses includes tuition, material and equipment. There is a break for lunch and all day tea or coffee is provided free of charge.

Basic Fascinator One Day Course Code SM01:-

This course is designed for the student with basic sewing skills who has an interest in hat making. It gives them the opportunity to both learn about and create a fascinator which when completed can be taken away and worn.

Fancy Fascinator One Day Course Code SM02:-

This is a course with the focus on the word fancy. The student will create a fascinator with added touches including feathers and trims. When completed it can be taken away and worn for your very special occasion.

Fun Fascinator Day Code SM03:-

This is a day built around either team building or just a fun day out where the emphasis is on the individual. You get to create a fun object to wear whilst learning something new.

Hat Making One Day Course Code SM04:-

This course caters for the student who is looking to create a hat for a special occasions. This course is for the more serious student who has moved on from the basic course and is looking to expand their skills and capabilities.

Sinamay Hat Making Two Day Course Code SM05:-

This course covers blocking, manipulation, stiffening, different trimming and wiring methods. The student will be working using a mould block to create elegant headwear using different materials.

Course Details:-

Weekday courses are from 10am to 5pm Monday to Thursday. The Saturday courses are 10am to 4-30pm. Sunday courses can also be provided by special arrangement.
